XONR8 project
The XONR8 project is basically a organization that helps inmates who have been accused guilty of a crime they have not done to be given a second chance to get the years on their sentenced reduced or to be left free. Our government system is not perfect and the government does not have enough time to look back at these real cases, so It's up to us to determine if they should be XONR8ted or not.
My group process so far I think is pretty well, but there is much more room for improvement! I don't believe my groups members are taking it that seriously and only some of us stay committed for what we get assigned. Although we have or down falls I believe we are on a good track and we will only get better. I am enjoying this project a lot because it makes me really think and want to XONR8 our appellant. I believe this is one of the most exciting projects I have ever done and I cant wait to accomplish this.
The overall project was a huge success! After presenting our appellants case to the lawyers we ended up finding out to not follow through on our clients XONR8tion due to lack of evidence and was guilty from the start. At first my group and I were struggling but we ended up working together in a professional manner and we ended up passing in my perspective.

Forensics presentation
Group Confidential
For this Presentation, I Felt like I was on top of things the whole time. My role was to specialize in ballistics and blood splatter and I feel like I made some great contributions. I had already been familiarized with forensics with a class I took in 6th per and so going into that project seemed really easy and fun for me.

Case Memos
Looking back at my appellants case memo was probably one of the hardest things Ive ever done and not because of the work ethic but the decision we had to make. I think what made it hard is that I was trying to think to myself that he as innocent but the evidence said otherwise. It was hard not to get emotionally attached to case but it was something we had to work on and slowly get the hang of. I think the easiest thing was probably getting to the point that he was guilty but even that was a tough decision. I feel like my voice was one of the most over powering in my group because I would always try to get my work down and group members would come up to me for help instead of the other way around so I felt pretty satisfied.
Exhibition to California Innocence Project
On a scale of 1-4 I think my group deserved a 3 or a 3.5 because we had mostly everything on our power point and we presented super awesome, everyone knew what to say, and were confident the whole time.
If I had to grade myself with same scale I would give myself a 3.5 because I did supper well in my perspective but I stuttered when I was talking and presenting so not a complete 4! A high point we had is we got everything done on time, and its was a pretty good presentation. A low was that we would always argue with someone specifically in our group.

#Sourcecode
What our project was about?
For this years project #sourcecode it was pretty awesome! For this project we had to compare a genome to other genomes and figure out their ancestry along with possible diseases that person may carry. By using python a coding language that is used to program computers we learned how exactly coding works and got to experience coding on the website codecademy. We were all assigned certain roles and I received the task of being an artist. My job was to create and info graphic for my team based on the information they gave me. There were 3 other roles which consisted of a biologist, bio informatics and a project manager. We were giving the task to code a random individuals genome and compare it to other genomes in the website called 23andme. 23andme is a website where you send in your DNA by spitting on a tube and mailing it to the company and within a few weeks you get your results back telling you exactly where you are, from percentage wise. We did not do it on our own genome but on those people that have submitted their information and posted it on the web for people to look at it.
The Role I Played in this Project?
For this entire source code project I was the artist. My job was basically to create an info graphic on the information my group gave me and create a code art representation of our star wars group name we were each assigned. My team was Yoda and my job was to create a Yoda typography portrait using code that my group gave me. In the beginning of the project I was really confused on what exactly I was going to be designing on my info graphic since I wasn't getting much help from my team. But towards the end my job everything got a whole lot easier. I started getting the right amount of help from my group and designing the info graphic became a lot easier since we had a stronger communication between each other and it was no longer just me trying to put everything together in a blank poster. During presentation I was able to explain my progress as an artist by sharing the pros and cons that I faced and how I came to overcome them along with what my days as an artist for my group looked like.
Lessons I learned for the Future
Its not that I learned a lesson but more like I learned how to think outside the box better and how to manage my time very efficiently in class and outside of school. Before the project started I knew I would run into personal problems relating to the internet so I knew I had to take a pre step and plan out my whole progress for the entire project and my workload. I learned that communicating with your teachers can be one of the most important things in school. Like I have said previously I was having personal problems I was able to confront Mackenzie and tell her what was going on. I honestly thought I was just wasting my time but I was really wrong. Having a 1 on 1 conversation can probably be the best thing you can do to show your teacher your willing to do any work necessary but you are having some problems along the way. My teacher was very flexible on giving me the right amount o time I needed in order to complete everything and That is one of the few best things that will stick to me forever! Having communication between your teacher and yourself.
